Hey there!

Developer turned Product Designer // Solving problems through empathy and research

Born and raised in Upstate New York, I’ve always been passionate about creating digital experiences that truly resonate with people. My career began in front-end development, but over time I realized I was more drawn to shaping the user interface and experience than writing the code behind it. That shift sparked my transition into product design.

I’m an empathetic creative who thrives on building products that are not only intuitive and engaging but also genuinely useful. My interests go far beyond surface-level interfaces - I’m driven by understanding people’s needs, uncovering insights through research, and translating them into solutions that make a real impact.

Throughout my career, whether working with non-profits or public health organizations, my focus has always been on improving lives through design. That desire to create tangible, human-centered solutions is what ultimately led me to pursue product design as both a profession and a passion.

About Me

I am married with 3 kids

Outside of work, I’m happily married and the proud parent of three wonderful kids, who constantly inspire my creativity and perspective.

I love baseball

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me at the ballpark or following a game. I’m a lifelong baseball fan with a special love for the Cleveland Guardians and the Chicago Cubs.

My wife is an illustrator

At home, I’m surrounded by creativity - my wife is a children’s book illustrator, who has built an amazing career working with some impressive publications.

My newest hobby is piano

My newest hobby is learning piano - a creative challenge that’s teaching me patience, rhythm, and the joy of starting from scratch. Just like design, it’s about practice, iteration, and finding harmony in the details.
